Riz Ahmed and Mindy Kaling had an incredible Twitter exchange about ‘Ms. Marvel’
After Kevin Feige hinted at the introduction of the Muslim superhero Kamala Khan — alias Ms. Marvel — to the MCU, Riz Ahmed and Mindy Kaling got pretty excited.
Ahmed was the first to tweet about it, with a suggestion for a killer writing team of himself, Mindy Kaling, and Kumail Nanjiani.
Then Kaling replied, revealing herself as a long-time Ms. Marvel fan.
The Good Place’s Jameela Jamil was also game.
I can also do weekends! ❤️

Co-creator of Kamala Khan and editor of the Ms. Marvel comics Sana Amanat even weighed in with an enigmatic be-monocled emoji.
Co-creator and writer G. Willow Wilson was a little less cryptic.
Ahmed had a plan for both of them.
And then the whole conversation gave birth to yet another awesome idea.
She’s incredible! Just want to support her any way I can!

Did somebody say “most ambitious crossover event in history”? No? Well, they should have done.
